Today, working in groups of three, you’re going to build a “social home page” for the World Series using Rebel Mouse.

Rebel Mouse is a free site that you can use to pull in content from various social media sources to create a dynamic home page.

Your group will create a unique World Series Rebel Mouse. To get started:

1- Choose your group (3 people)

2- One person will sign up for Rebel Mouse– click sign up with email (do not choose anything else or else your own personal Facebook or Twitter will be used)

3- Gather the social media you want to use for your World Series Rebel Mouse:

– Twitter (accounts or hash tags)
– Instagram
– Facebook
– Pinterest
– YouTube
– Flickr
– RSS feeds

You can choose any combination of these. The World Series is a huge event with two Major League Baseball teams and tons of media and fans will be tweeting and Facebooking and Instagramming away. It’s your choice to decide what you want to feature on your site. Think about:

– Social media accounts of one or both teams
– Social media accounts of news organizations
– Social media accounts of individual players
– Hash tags

4- Once you have an account and log in, you can add all of your content to your page. The page will update constantly as more tweets, photos, videos, etc. are posted throughout the World Series.
