Thursday, September 29: Rachel’s Challenge assembly

Rachel Joy Scott was the first person killed in the Columbine tragedy in 1999.  Her tragedy has given rise to a nationally-recognized program that aims to reaffirm the message of kindness and compassion to all students and members of our community.  Rachel’s Challenge – an anti-bullying, anti-school violence, pro-community program – will host assemblies during the school day and a community event on Thursday, September 29th from 7:00 – 8:00 pm in the Caron Theater at Medford High School.  The event is free and open to the public.
